Minimum System Requirements

The computer on which you install Hard Drive Inspector should meet the following system requirements:

• Operating system Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista/2008/7.
• About 10 MB of available disk space.
• At least one
  • ATA-compatible (PATA/SATA/eSATA) hard drive or
  • SCSI hard drive or
  • Solid state drive (SSD).

Additional hardware that is supported by Hard Drive Inspector

• The hard drives that are connected to the 3Ware 8xxx and 9xxx Series RAID controllers. Hard Drive Inspector doesn't support the other RAID controllers.
• USB disks based on Cypress AT2 chips (USB to ATA/ATAPI bridge) are supported. Below is an incomplete list of the supported USB drives and enclosures:
